The Krishna Milk Union has announced the highest-ever milk procurement price in Andhra Pradesh, offering a major boost to dairy farmers amid rising input costs. With the inclusion of bonuses effective from April 1, 2026, farmers are set to receive ₹935 per kg of fat, marking a record payout in the state’s dairy sector.

The move is expected to significantly improve farmer incomes and strengthen milk procurement in the region, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to supporting producers.

The price hike comes at a time when dairy farmers are facing increased production costs, making enhanced procurement rates critical for sustaining profitability and encouraging higher milk output.

This milestone highlights the growing role of cooperatives in ensuring better price realization for farmers, while also strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s dairy ecosystem through competitive and farmer-centric procurement strategies.
