Gyandhara Industries Pvt. Ltd., led by Co-founder and Managing Director Ritu Agarwal, has emerged as one of North India’s fastest-growing cattle feed manufacturers by challenging the long-held belief that dairy farmers prioritize low prices over quality.
Founded in 2017, the company has grown into a business with annual revenues exceeding ₹425 crore, a combined production capacity of 1,500 metric tonnes per day across two manufacturing facilities, and a presence spanning Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Nepal, while continuing to expand across North India.
Rather than relying on aggressive advertising, Gyandhara focused on farmer education, science-based cattle nutrition and demonstrable improvements in milk productivity, animal health and profitability. Through initiatives such as Gyandhara Manthan and the Gyandhara Mitra network, the company has engaged more than 10 lakh farmers, including over 70,000 farmers during FY 2025–26 alone, promoting better feeding practices and livestock management.
The company also invested in BIS-certified manufacturing, laboratory infrastructure and stringent quality-control systems to ensure consistent feed performance. Ritu Agarwal, who entered the cattle feed industry after spending nearly 15 years as a homemaker, said the company’s philosophy has always been to let farmers evaluate measurable results rather than marketing claims.
Gyandhara’s growth reflects a broader shift in India’s dairy sector, where scientific nutrition, farmer awareness and productivity-focused solutions are increasingly driving sustainable dairy development and higher rural incomes.
