Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) has announced additional milk price of Rs 16 per litre procured from Anand pattern milk cooperative societies under it.
This additional milk rate is applicable for the milk supplied by primary Anand pattern milk co-operative societies during the month of February, TRCMPU Chairman Mani Vishwanath said today. With this additional milk price, the procurement price of milk per litre given to the primary Anand pattern milk co-operative societies under TRCMPU will go up to Rs 61.13.
Of the additional price, Rs 8 will go to dairy farmers, Rs 4 to the societies and the remaining Rs 4 will be credited as their additional share in TRCMPU.
The incentive will be given to the societies along with the third milk bill of March, said the chairman.
