Uttar Pradesh has recorded a strong growth in exports of dairy and animal husbandry products, with figures rising by 10.16% between April 2024 and November 2025 compared to the same period a year earlier. According to official data, export earnings increased from ₹444.10 crore (April 2023–November 2024) to ₹489.24 crore (April 2024–November 2025), marking a jump of nearly ₹45 crore.

The export category includes not only dairy products such as milk, ghee, paneer, butter and milk powder, but also eggs, natural honey and other edible animal-based products. The growth has been attributed to improvements in processing infrastructure, packaging, quality control and supply chain management, which have enhanced the global competitiveness of products from the state.

Officials highlighted that sustained government initiatives to strengthen the dairy and livestock sector are now translating into higher export performance, positioning Uttar Pradesh as an emerging player in value-added dairy and animal product exports.
