The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) convened a high-level review meeting on 25 June 2026, bringing together Chairpersons and Managing Directors of Milk Unions and State Cooperative Dairy Federations from across the country to shape the future roadmap for India’s dairy sector.
The deliberations focused on strengthening the cooperative dairy ecosystem through enhanced milk procurement, productivity improvement, value addition, digital transformation and market competitiveness. Participants shared ground-level experiences, challenges and best practices, providing inputs to formulate a long-term vision for sustainable dairy development.
The meeting emphasized accelerating the objectives of White Revolution 2.0 by expanding farmer participation, improving milk quality, promoting innovation and ensuring greater value realization for dairy producers. NDDB reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with state federations and milk unions to build a resilient, technology-driven and farmer-centric dairy sector capable of meeting India’s growing demand for milk and dairy products while enhancing rural livelihoods.
