Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar, who is also a **Sangam Dairy chairman and MLA from Ponnur, strongly criticised leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing them of spreading false propaganda and baseless allegations against him and the cooperative dairy. Speaking in Amaravati, he dismissed claims that he had hurriedly changed the colours of the Vaishnavi Dairy gates overnight, calling the allegations “laughable.”

He alleged that YSRCP leaders had previously engaged in website hacking, morphing and spreading fake narratives, describing these as their “patented practices.” Narendra recalled that during the YSRCP regime he was jailed for 33 days, and attempts were made to hack Sangam Dairy servers to find evidence against him, but investigations found no wrongdoing.

He also said 22 cases filed against him during the YSRCP government are still pending, questioning why they have not been withdrawn if they are baseless. Referring to the Tirumala Laddu ghee controversy, he stated that the adulteration issue was genuine and that National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) confirmed the presence of vegetable and animal fats in the ghee.

According to him, the SIT probe found that ₹12.5 crore reached Vijayawada and ₹7.5 crore reached Chennai through the adulterated ghee transactions. He also questioned how ghee could be supplied at ₹316 per kg when butter costs about ₹360 per kg in the open market, calling it an obvious irregularity. Narendra clarified that Sangam Dairy had participated in TTD ghee tenders in 2020 and 2021, and that the current tender was secured only after meeting all technical standards, rules and scientific testing procedures, rejecting claims of political influence.

He also stated that Heritage Foods had not supplied even a single drop of ghee to TTD, and emphasised that Sangam Dairy belongs to farmers of Guntur district, while Srija Dairy belongs to women of Chittoor district. He added that Sangam Dairy had long awaited the opportunity to serve Tirumala Temple, and the chance finally came through the proper tender process.
