Heritage Foods Ltd. has reaffirmed its commitment to strict quality standards and dairy farmer empowerment amid political scrutiny over unrelated ghee supply controversies. The company’s Vice Chairperson and Managing Director, Nara Bhuvaneswari, released a public statement and video emphasising that every product undergoes 25 quality tests monitored by more than 500 experts, ensuring safety and compliance beyond statutory requirements before reaching consumers.

Bhuvaneswari highlighted Heritage’s farmer-centric model, which works with nearly 300,000 milk producers across nine Indian states based on transparency, fair pricing and timely payments. She said the company’s growth — from a ₹4 crore start to a ₹4,000 crore dairy enterprise — reflects sustained trust in its quality controls and rural engagement, underscoring its mission to deliver fresh, healthy products while uplifting dairy communities.

The statement comes as opposition parties attempted to link Heritage Foods with quality issues surrounding an allegedly adulterated ghee supplier, a claim the company has strongly denied, clarifying that the entity in question is an independent contract manufacturer with no formal corporate relationship. Bhuvaneswari invited consumers and stakeholders to independently verify Heritage’s quality protocols and stressed that the company’s reputation rests on long-standing operational integrity and farmer support, not politics.
