At its 57th Annual General Meeting held in Badarpura, Banaskantha, Banas Dairy (Asia’s largest dairy cooperative) announced a historic total disbursement of ₹2,909.8 crore to stakeholders.

Of this, ₹2,131 crore was paid directly to registered milk producers—a robust 18.32% year-on-year increase. Additionally, ₹778.12 crore was allocated to milk cooperative societies.
Chairman Shankar Chaudhary also unveiled plans for a new milk powder plant at Sanadar, with a production capacity of 150 metric tonnes per day, which would stand as India’s largest. Furthermore, a Banas Bovine Breeding and Research Centre (BBBRC) was approved to be established in Bhiladi to bolster breeding and research efforts.
A notable financial highlight: the cooperative slashed its loan liabilities from ₹2,000 crore to ₹610 crore, having repaid ₹1,389 crore—a significant repayment strengthening financial health
